Mine was less than stellar. I was on my way home from a work function about an hour from my house in the LS400 when I hit a wrench or some other piece of debris and did this.

Of course it just happened to be one of my Blizzaks, and of course my spare was flat. My insurance offers no cost roadside assistance but it took the truck about an hour to arrive. I ordered new summer tires today but they won’t arrive for a few weeks. I don’t want to ruin my snow tires by driving them in the warm, so I might throw my junky old all seasons back on the car for a few weeks.

I’m split. I really liked all the other ones, this one seems a tad by the numbers. I might just wait for it to go on sale. THe map editor really has me interested but I doubt it will be like far cry 2. If I can host a public match (with random people able to see my server) and can host custom maps, Its an immediate buy for me.

damn... took a heck of chunk out of the rocker panel too... “sometimes you are the windshield, sometimes you are the bug...”

(closest thing I’ve had happen was a ladder coming off a pickup in front of me and it slid straight under my car, showering sparks all over but didn’t do any damage; and then there was the time I got hit by the bone from a t-bone steak - pickup in front of me had dog in back who was chewing on bone, bone bounced from truck at freeway speeds, made large dent in my hood....)

Thursday I had a ladder slip out. I was only about 3 rungs up when I woke up in the ambulance. Slightly cracked ankle, big bruise on my side just below ribs and huge egg where I smashed my head on something.

I could repair it, and maybe trust it, but my spare wheel is just another full size rim, and another brand new OEM rim from eBay is only like $120, so I’ll probably just wind up ordering one of those.

It happens. Honestly it was a good reminder that at the end of the day, a car is just a car. It sucks, but that’s why we have insurance.

If the biggest problem that I have to deal with today is a few scuff marks and a scrape on my fender, I should be happy.
